Chesapeake Redevelopment & Housing Authority Workforce Housing Initiative

The Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority’s (CRHA) Workforce Housing Initiative will provide two home ownership opportunities in Western Branch to regular, full time city of Chesapeake employees or Chesapeake Public School teachers with five or more continuous years of service with the city. To qualify, applicants must also be a first time home buyer and their gross income must not exceed $63,000 for a one or two person household or $73,000 for a household with three or more people. An informational session will be held March 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the Greenbrier Library. An application must be filled out and returned to the CRHA by April 3. Applications are available at the CRHA Central Office, 1468 S. Military Highway, or can be printed through the following websites: crhava.org, cityofchesapeake.net and cpschools.com.
