June 1 Campaign Finance Reports Now Online

The nonpartisan Virginia Public Access Project has posted the campaign finance reports that were due June 1 at 5 pm.

These reports provide a look at fundraising by candidates for the House of Delegates and three statewide offices between April 1 and May 27.

Check the VPAP website at vpap.org for a listing of candidates whose reports are available. You'll be able to view the raised/spent totals for each committee. You'll also be able to sort donations and expenditures by name, date and amount.

Here are some numbers for the four candidates for Virginia Governor:

Deeds for Governor (Raised $676,428 during the period.)

McAuliffe for Governor (Raised $1.8 million during the period.)

McDonnell for Governor (Raised $3.7 million during the period)

Moran for Governor (Raised $844,244 during the period)

The VPAP staff is working to integrate 15,000+ transactions from these reports into its database. For now, the transactions contained in the June 1 reports will be visible only on a few pages on VPAP.org.

VPAP is expected to have information from House and statewide candidates integrated throughout its website by Friday.
