In other VCOG news, Megan Rhyne became the new executive director of the group in October, 2008. For ten years she was the part time associate director of VCOG and worked with the long time former executive director, Forrest M. "Frosty" Landon. Also, during those ten years, from her home office in Williamsburg, she has worked as an editor for a PR firm for lawyers in Dallas, TX, written court case opinion summaries for the National Law Journal, and taught media law as an adjunct professor at Hampton University's journalism department. She holds a BA in radio,television and motion pictures from the University of North Carolina, and a JD from the University of Colorado. She is licensed to practice law in Virginia.
