SBE VOTER ADDRESS CONFIRMATION PROCESS STARTS TODAY
~SBE Sends Mailings to Nearly 500,000 Virginia Addresses~
In accordance with state and federal law, the State Board of Elections has mailed confirmation of address forms to nearly 500,000 individuals. This process, known as National Change of Address (NCOA) List Maintenance is vital to ensuring the integrity of the election process in Virginia.
These confirmations are intended to maintain the accuracy of voter lists in the Commonwealth and will be mailed to Virginians identified as individuals who have potentially changed residences.
Recipients are asked to return the confirmation using the self-addressed envelopes within 30 days of initial receipt in order to avoid a change in registration status.
