Shenandoah 18th Annual Bicycle Festival

The 18th Annual Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Festival will be held Saturday, July 25th,2009 starting out at Our Community Place in Harrisonburg, Virginia. What has come to be known as the Bike Fest offers a wide variety of options for both the beginner and the more experienced rider. Rides range from the five mile family friendly ride through downtown Harrisonburg to the 100 mile Century Ride over the rolling roads of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Registration includes homemade food, fully stocked rest stops, ride maps, mechanical support, drinks, shower facilities, and a (much prized) Bike Fest T shirt. The rides start and finish at Our Community Place located at 17 E. Johnson Street in the north end of Harrisonburg, Virginia. Registration is only $25 if done by July 11th – $30 day of the event (children 12 and under ride for free). All proceeds support Our Community Place.
