Delbert Feaster joined the Louisa County Emergency Services Department April 6, 2009, assuming the role of Support Services Lieutenant. Lt. Feaster will be responsible for leadership of the logistical needs of the Emergency Services Department and will work closely with the volunteer fire and rescue agencies by coordinating and planning training opportunities.

Lt. Feaster started his fire service career as a volunteer in rural Arcola, Virginia and recently retired after nearly than 30 years of career service with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department in Fairfax County, Virginia.

“The board is committed to providing and supporting core public safety services. Lt. Feaster served as the Assistant Chief for the Mineral Volunteer Fire Department.

“I am extremely excited about the newest member of our Emergency Services Staff,” stated Green Springs District Supervisor Richard Havasy, Board liaison to EMSAL and the Fire Association. “He has gained considerable expertise during his many years in fire service and has fostered a close working relationship with our volunteer agencies.”

Fire Chief Robert DubĂ© said, "Lt. Feaster will be a huge asset to the Department. As a long time Louisa County volunteer, he brings local expertise with his career experience and I look forward to serving the citizens of Louisa County alongside him.”
