The 76th Annual Historic Garden Week in Virginia will be held at sites and historic homes all over the Commonwealth from April 18 to 25. Sponsored by the Garden Club of Virginia, this annual event features public and private spaces that are not always open to the public, and attracts thousands of visitors both from within and outside of the Commonwealth.

The Garden Club of Virginia raises funds from these tours and uses them to restore or recreate historic properties and gardens. According to Garden Club of Virginia President Cabell Goolsby West, they have raised over $14.5 million over the last seven decades, and they have restored or recreated the gardens and grounds of over 40 major historic landmarks throughout the Commonwealth.

Attractive guidebooks are available for free or you may research and create your own tour experience by going on the Garden Club of Virginia's website at www.gcvirginia.org.
