Former Virginia Governor and former Richmond, Virginia Mayor, L. Douglas Wilder is joining the blogosphere.
Wilder ended his term as Richmond mayor this week by announcing he's starting a blog called "WilderVisions." In it, he says he will address local and national topics on the site, www.WilderVisions.com
In his new blog, Doug Wilder wrote that he's convinced the city is heading in the right direction after his four years in office.
Virginia's first and only African American governor is returning to full time teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Doug Wilder's successor at Richmond City Hall, former Virginia Delegate Dwight Clinton Jones, was sworn in on Wednesday.
